About Fondren/ Fondon - Woods / Wood
Thank you for visiting the Fondren / Fondon Family website! This site was put together to assist family member is looking up and tracking family linage.
In researching the family I have come across several variation of the spelling and pronunciation of our surname(s). Examples are Fondreu, Fandan, Fonder, Fondern, Fondrew, Fondon, and Fondren.

My research revealed these differences in spelling but with a closer looks it also revealed our common ancestry.

Although this site title speaks to my paternal lines "FONDREN", it also document my linage along my maternal lines “WOODS”. You will find the branches of our family from both side to run far and wide here.

I hope you each find this site useful to your own research. Please feel free to pass any new information or correction to me via this site. You can contact via email at skipfondren@verizion.net or leave a message in the site Guest Book. Thanks!
